baby girl frieden update…

Ok, so the first little grandbaby in our clan is already late. Two days late so far… and are we really surprised? If Robert made it to high school in time for second period, he felt he had overdone it. Michelle organized a little baby pool on behalf of the family. Only Jonathan & Robert are still in it. The rest of us lost days ago. Kristin was sort of hoping the little squirt would make an appearance today… she had a spanish test that I understand she’d rather take some other day… The size pool has the baby ranging from 6lbs 4oz (Michelle) to 8lbs 4oz (Dad). I know dad has more experience with this sort of thing. But we are all sort of hoping he’s wrong this time… you know, for itty bitty Kristin’s sake. In other words, nothing to report at this point. We’ll keep you posted…

Don’t forget Jonny’s guess of 12lbs 2oz. I don’t know if he really thought that one through, but that was his guess.

There is still time for this precious little Frieden to be born on Great Aunt Donna’s birthday (Jan. 30) or The Great Aunt Jeanie’s and Grandma’s (Feb. 4).
Our prayers are with you for the safe delivery for both Kristin and Baby Girl Frieden.

Aunt Donna’s birthday is a real possibility at this point. Doctor yesterday said all is well, but she hasn’t progressed past the 3 cm from last week, so they scheduled a just-in-case appointment for Monday if they decide to induce….
