Bittersweet

Hi everyone,
Wondering if anyone reads this much anymore. I know I haven’t been signed in here for quite awhile. Been too busy I suppose—-or something like that.
Thought I’d check in and give a quick update on what’s happening in my life.
September 29th our legal separation was successfully converted to a DIVORCE. Who would have ever thought?? It’s still somewhat unbelievable to me, but am convinced it was the only course of action.
I also chose to put away the Thompson name. I am now officially Mary A. Frieden again. That is truly bittersweet. One more step in the process of walking in God’s obedience.
This is such an unfamiliar path, yet I see God’s footprints and feel His presence all along the way. I can only look heavenward and say, Thank you for lighting the way.

hey aunt mary i am glad to hear that you are doing so well and another thing i was wondering since i cant post anything that you would post something about my father…he hasnt been doing so well in these past two months so i think my family would appreciate if you could say something for him and keep him in all of your prayers…..ps aunt mary, i will be getting in touch with you sometime to arrange a time for me to come and get my desk, thanks

Hi John, I haven’t been on this site for awhile, so i missed your note until this morning…….Sorry.
I saw your mom and dad and Donna and I wanted to take them out for supper on your dad’s birthday. It didn’t work out, but will try again another time.
I’m getting ready to move into a trailer in the next couple of weeks, so it will be good if you can get the desk since I won’t have a place for it when I move. I’ve been keeping it safe for you so hope you can get it…….it’s a nice piece of furniture.
