oh iowa- you are a little pretty. but it hurts my heart. just the other day i defended you against the insults of some misinformed texan who thought you were a flat and boring place. and now this? this is how you repay me? i’m taking this one personally. dee brown is a good boy. you should have treated him better. you are on my list, iowa.

THEE game saturaday was well planned by the iowa squad. there plan was to play solid defense against a more talented team, that should have won the game if all there players had showed up for it. dee brown was absent from the lineup nearly all the game. saturaday was a red letter day for most iowans. this one was VERY happy with the outcome of the THEE game. i’m sure that the next time thee meet all of the illini team will show up, i hope they don’t but they will have to protect their home floor.

for lack of a better word- burn. it happened, andi. we totally just got burned by our own uncle. i for one am glad that we live way down here in texas, lest the rest of the family see how much trash we REALLY talked about that game. (before the actual game, naturally.) after reading don’s comment, i know for sure that he (along with uncle pat, i am most certain) would probably consider voting us out after all that.

vote you out i don’t think so. why would think that we would want that? now if you had been rooting for a longhorn team rather than a big ten team may i would consider having a vote.

Oh but Don- I DID root for the Longhorns! But only in that one game. And only due to peer pressure. And I would NEVER root for a Big 12 team OR an SEC team over a Big 10 team. Well, at basketball, anyway.

thank you michelle for being honest about rooting for texas. there were many iowans doing that also during a football game. i could never root for a pac-10 team.go big ten!!

he’s right, of course. At the end of the day… we live in Texas… and if we are going to have any spirit at all… we will have to root for the whole big 10. Even IOWA. Since we barely get to see any big10 games… and have to listen to Big12, Aggies, UT, gig’em, hook’em’horns…blah, blah, blah…. we just have to root for the whole BIG 10. Except PENN STATE. We don’t have to root for them. One of these things is not like the other… one of these things just isn’t the same… that’s right Penn State… that’s you.
