Sweating To Jingle Bells?
by: andi
Are you kidding me? Joe & I were at Lowes on Sunday grabbing some knobs and whatnot for our fixer upper home project at the Ranch. And the big aisle right in front where normally there are important things like mosquito foggers, mosquito zappers, Off Skintastic (oh it IS skintastic) was devoid of these important items, and filled with Christmas Trees, and Tinsel, and Ornaments. This has got to be a joke. It was 95 degrees outside. We were drenched in our own sweat from walking the 15 feet from the truck to the door. Hello? It is SEPTEMBER. Halloween is 6 weeks away. Christmas is 100 days from now. See, there are 365 days in the year… Christmas is 100 days away… fast math fails me… but that’s nearly 1/3 of the year from now. I can remember a time when Christmas shopping did not even start at Thanksgiving. But a week after Labor Day? Has the world gone mad? Anyway, gotta run. Better start my shopping.

It’s true. Sick and twisted? Yes. But true nonetheless.
Andi- if you are in fact starting your shopping, please note that this year I am NOT asking for a pony, as I have done in years past. This year my list includes only 1 item: an appointment with a cosmetic surgeon to remove the SCARS on my legs left by your friendly neighborhood mosquito swarm.
Thank you.

I wanted whomever is responsible for shopping for Michelle to check in with me.
I see that Michellie has the Encyclopedia Britannica set on her list. Do you think she might want the World Book Set (complete with Yearbooks 1965 - 1982)???
I know where you can get a set VERY VERY reasonable (I mean FREE)!!!
Just let me know where you want them sent and you will have her gift taken care of! I am sure she will be sooo pleased!
You might also want to check with me regarding some of her other wishes! You might be suprised who many things I might have!
Love Always
Jeanie
