time to make the donuts

only donut makers should get up at 6. and grandmas. possibly farmers, if it’s the right season. but not regular people. or their dogs. not in November anyway. it’s not just a little dark. it’s middle of the night, pitch black. (I’m sure Mary would have some beautiful and poetic way of describing this morning — even though you can’t see it, due to the blackness. But she’s a grandma. She’s allowed.) Didn’t we just “fall-back” last weekend? I think we should have fallen back a little further.

By the time I sprinted down the steps at the ridiculously LATE time of 6:30 AM this morning, we had a wonderfully, gorgeous, Colorado sunrise in the making. In fact, I’m still enjoying it as I’m writing this note.
The rays of sunshine are glistening in the bright, golden leaves of the cottonwood tree almost within reach out my back door. The clear, blue, Colorado sky invites me to get out and enjoy this day.
I think I shall do that. Anna Banana Girl will make life interesting and very wonderful as usual.
